If you want to listen to the morning broadcasts of AIR regional stations
in Europe, the first frequencies coming to my mind are 4800, 4910 and
4920 kHz. After monitoring the situation more closely on some mornings
in the third decade of September, the project can be summarized as follows:
4800 kHz: AIR Hyderabad, morning broadcast according to Jose Jacob (27
September) 0020-0215, the sign on confirmed, on some days better signal
than CNR1, but not heard after 0100, news in Hindi 0030 and English 0035
4810 kHz: AIR Bhopal, not actively monitored because it was covered by a
utility signal, morning broadcast officially 0025-0215
4910 kHz: AIR Jaipur, morning broadcast officially 0025-0430, the sign
on confirmed like this: test tone already on before 0020, 0023 interval
signal from All India Radio, Vande Mataram and indigenous music, ongoing
programme still observed after 0100
4920 kHz: AIR Chennai, morning broadcast officially 0015-0215, after the
sign on on some days better signal than PBS Xizang by the day, but not
for long.
4950 kHz: AIR Srinagar, morning broadcast according to Jose Jacob: s0030
/ w0120-0215, but not heard like that. Finally on 27 September 2020:
test tone, 0118 Interval Signal, 0120 Vande Mataram, 0122 frequency
announcements, indigenous music
5040 kHz: AIR Jeypore, morning broadcast officially 0025-0436, finally
heard on 27 September but not after 0100
