A carrier has appeared on 5970 kHz at 1445 UTC, maybe ahead of the weather
reports transmission for this race today (26 Aug)?

Broadcast heard on 5970 kHz from 1510 UTC tune-in until abrupt close at
1530 UTC with weather reports for 26th and 27th August, Female announcer
in English with a French accent, until 1515 UTC when she said "that's all
for today, have a nice day, take care of yourself, talk to you again
tomorrow".

Then into French at 1516 UTC; English again at 1525 with reports
mentioning Biscay Bay, transmitter cut off abruptly at 1530 UTC.

Checking HFCC, there is a listing under TDF from 1500-1600 UTC "Special"
"For New Organization" registered on 5970 6105 13730 15300 17800 - all
from Issoudun

Only 5970 was heard here - very strong signal SIO 555.

This sounded just like the weather broadcasts which were heard on SW from
Issoudun in July and October 2019 for the Mini Transat yacht race,
but think that race has been cancelled this year, so what event is this
broadcast for?
