WMR is broadcasting on 15805 kHz (Sa/Su 07-20 UTC) in AM and so listeners (= DXers) are advised to listen in the AM mode.

Glenn Hauser reports "wobbling unstable carrier tuning USB or LSB" and an "awful, unlistenable" signal and then questions whether I monitor the signal on 15805 kHz. Of course I do, and that is why I repeatedly have asked DXers to utilise AM and not SSB when listening to WMR on 15805 kHz.

If I had all the money in the world (which I haven't and this is of course just an expensive hobby project) I could probably have the tx fixed so it provided good audio also using SSB, but - sorry - this just isn't a priority as long as 15805 kHz sounds ok in AM. And it does:

Judging coverage of SW stations by using remote KiwiSDRs is not fair. It should be a well-known fact that most of these KiwiSDRs are connected to extremely inefficient aerials and often in environments with a lot of manmade interference. In other words completely useless. However there a few good ones, and WMR can usually be heard quite well on these SDRs:
W-Greece: http://sdr.telcosol.gr:8073/
Sardinia, Italy: http://sibamanna.duckdns.org:8073/
Bucharest, Romania: http://kiwisdr.yo3iul.ro:8074/
And is also regularly heard on these SDR's - though of course with a much weaker signal:
Kuwait: http://9k2ra.proxy.kiwisdr.com:8073/ (mornings UTC)
NH, USA: http://w1nt.onthewifi.com:8073/ (afternoons UTC)
Brazil: http://appr.org.br:8073/ (afternoons UTC)
South Africa: http://kp.twrmon.net:8073/ (late afternoons UTC)

Btw: If everything goes well, WMR will be returning to 5840 kHz with a new and stronger transmitter (500 W) from a new transmitter site near Bramming within the next two weeks. This will be on the air 24/7.

** DENMARK. 15805, Sunday April 19 at 1325, no signal direct from World Music Radio, as reactivated weekends only. This time by 1521 I bring up the KiwiSDRs in Europe to check it. Of the three in Spain, only Barcelona has a trace of it. Of the 13 in Italy, the first one I try, Rome, is getting it, but awful distortion from wobbling unstable carrier tuning USB or LSB. Isn`t SHN monitoring his own output? 1525 break in pop music as YL mentions Denmark in English; can`t stand any more of it by 1533.

1600 recheck still awful, unlistenable until I switch to AM, by which it`s not so bad. Maybe this is why SHN advises not to tune in SSB, which otherwise could improve such weak-signal reception! 1643 cuts off suddenly, or at least most of the modulation as the mushy carrier still seems there vs Roman noise level: nothing but squealing when tuned to 15804-USB. 1856 recheck, much weaker with distorted music.
Earlier at 0915-0935, Manuel Méndez in Spain called it a ``clear signal``.

BTW, in yesterday`s report I said WTWW has not been on 15805 for months; in fact the frequency it has not been on is 15810. BTW2, Arnie Coro devoted the first 5 minutes of his RHC Spanish DX show this week to WMR, derived from SHN`s notice about it as on HCDX. Sked is Sat/Sun only 0700-2000, 200 watts southwards. AC suggests yagi would raise ERP to 800 watts (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
