That appears to be an offshoot of their "a la carte" offering -- they
committed to do this as part of the XM acquisition in order to secure
FTC / FCC approval.

Last time I checked a couple months back, there was only one
aftermarket radio that had the capability to pick & choose channels,
and it wasn't one of their cheaper radios.
