Re: [Swprograms] OT: How much will you pay to get your news online?
The library here in Vancouver (Wa) is sponsoring a program tomorrow
(Thursday 6/4) evening on the future of the local newspapers. The
Publishers of the Portland and Vancouver papers and the Publisher of a
paper called The Reflector will be giving presentations. I'm planning on
attending. Should be interesting.

Discussion about how newspapers are trying to find ways to get people
to pay for what they're reading.
It reads something the PBS and NPR models -- "we know some people will
pay for what they read {listen to...watch...]..."
