[Swprograms] Fwd: Radio Netherlands Worldwide PROGRAMME PREVIEW Saturday 20 - Friday 26 December 2008

In my NASWA Easy Listening column for December I speculated that RNW
would have a documentary in place of "Newsline" on its Christmas Day /
Christmas Night transmissions. Judging by the weekly program preview
below, that doesn't appear to be the case this year.

However, "Earthbeat" will be having a special year-end edition.

We ask if there's a right to a functioning government, with a look at

Then, the right to reproduce: we hear about a doctor forced to offer
reproductive therapy to a teenager, against her better judgement. We
hear from a woman who was forced to have an abortion in China, and an
essay about the challenges of infertility.

And we discuss the protection of children's rights with two South
