Coverage is less than total. I recently drove from Calgary to the southern B.C.
Interior. On the way, CBR gives usable coverage until about Cranbrook, B.C.,
about 4 hours distant. Within that service area, there is Calgary's drop-in FM
repeater and a high-power rebroadcaster out of Lethbridge. Beyond that, there
are significant gaps in FM coverage as the highway winds westward through the
mountains.
