News to me, anyway. One month after the close of the European SW service.
Not sure from the BBC website if all of the frequencies shown as
"Caribbean / Central America" will be axed or not.
As the weblog also indicates, in a post from Joe Hanlon (someone who
visited the Fest for years until ~3 or 4 years ago), East Asia and
Southeast Asia lose midday shortwave (between 10 AM and 5 PM local
time) as of the A-08 schedule changes on 30th March.
If indeed all these Americas transmissions are cut, then we in the
East will need to focus primarily on Africa-focused frequencies.
