At least here in Eastern PA, I tend to focus on African frequencies
anyway, with European frequencies only as an alternative..

For example, right now at 0409 UTC on 12 February, all three African
frequencies are at least reasonably listenable - 7120 the best,
followed by 7160 and then 6005.
