The USA's NPR also uses a Flash-based player to build a playlist, as does RCI.
Good news is that the ABC still offers most of its programs via
straight Real Media / Windows Media links as well.
Those are handier for programs (such as Replay AV) that capture
streams for eventual download to a listener's computer (in those
instances when downloads / podcasts are not directly provided).
It will be interesting to see what changes the BBCWS makes (if any) in
its website relaunch planned in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary
celebration later this month.
