I just received the latest RAIN Newsletter which deals with items of interest to webcasters such as myself. However this was included and directly may impact XM & SIRIUS subscribers soon if the proposed merger goes through-

"Sharing tactics with SoundExchange, the RIAA asserts
that it will demand XM Radio and Sirius stop paying
"below-market rates" and will move to increase the
royalties paid by a unified satellite radio company
should their proposed merger go into effect."
