I am not sure if this is a good idea or not. "Personality-driven news" could run the gamut from Jon Stewart to Walter Cronkite.

What is intriguing is the degree of collaboration here -- including the BBC World Service; the mention of the BBCWS is what triggered the item showing up in my in-box.
