PEOPLE OF UNCOMMON DESTINY (on the air on November 29th). The guest in our
studio will be Prince Oleg Volkonsky. Russian by birth and blood, he,
nevertheless, was born and spent most of his life outside this country. His
parents were Russian aristocrats driven out of this country by the Socialist
Revolution of 1917. Oleg Volkonsky devoted most of his working life to a career
of a radio broadcaster, working for Radio Liberty, the Russian Service of the
BBC and later, and for the Voice of America. The program will go on the air on
Tuesday, November 29, at 1745 and 1945 UTC. It will be repeated on Wednesday,
November 30, at 0445 UTC. We wish you all good listening. 
  
FOLK BOX (on the air on November 21st) In the next edition of our FOLK BOX
weekly feature you will hear popular melodies performed by the folk orchestra
Onego. "From Karelia with Love" -such was the motto of the jubilee festivities
marking 30th years since the birth of the orchestra recently held in Moscow.
Once again the musicians demonstrated to the public their high class
performance proving that Karelia is a land rich not only in rivers and lakes
but talents as well. Do tune in on Monday at 14.30, Tuesday 01.30 and 07.30,
