[Swprograms] Peel Tribute on BBC Radio 1

For those  subscribing to Sirius Satellite Radio, BBC Radio 1 is  
broadcasting its six hour tribute to John Peel on the US channel's  
usual five hour delay.  That means that at this writing it is the  
midst of its third hour.  It is a most excellent listen with fabulous  
music and bands discovered and "promoted" by Mr. Peel throughout his  
career.  And hearing Peel's voice again on the wireless brings back a  
ton of great memories while bittersweet all the same.  There are  
celebrations taking place around the world from Portland, OR to  
Auckland, NZ.

It's on stream #11 for those who can access it.  But also go to the  
BBC Radio 1 website <www.bbc.co.uk/radio1> for a great set of picture  
albums, audio bits (including a replay of this tribute) and other  
memorabilia.
