The problem with citizen journalism is that eye
witnesses/citizen journalists are not necessarily
reliable and not necessarily impartial. You need
experienced reporters and editors to sift through and
analyse all the evidence. With 24 hour radio and TV
news channels competing with one another everyone
wants instant news rather than accurate sober analysis
of events.
