Rather than retyping everything, I would like to refer you to a site maintained 
by Tod Maffin, a locked-out CBC Radio presenter.

Among the top items currently on his site are a press release by the CBC 
regarding the statement of agreement with its union, and an article from the 
Globe and Mail. Maffin also has an audio interview he did with the head of the 
Canadian Media Guild, which represents the locked-out CBC workers.
Of course, since Maffin's site is a blog, many people have left comments for 
your reading pleasure.
