Toronto's main newspapers -- the National Post, Globe and Mail, and
the Sun, all have relatively stringent online article restrictions.
Many of the CBC-relevant articles and columns from these papers appear
to be available at the following public broadcasting advocacy site:
http://www.publicairwaves.ca.
If you are looking for articles or columns that state that the CBC is
irrelevant, I doubt you'll find them there -- since the website argues
that Canada needs a well-funded public broadcaster, and blames
government underfunding for the budgetary pressures that led to the
lockout.
There is some good news -- that language on one of the main sticking
points -- the use of outsourcing when layoffs might result -- has been
agreed to by the CBC and the Canadian Media Guild (CMG).
