As John Figliozzi mentioned, this announcement has nothing to do with
the CBC.  It is all about XM's stated willingness to spend money in
Canada.  Using the "follow the money" analogy, if XM is wiling to
spend money, then it means they're committed to the business of
satellite radio to Canadians.
