Of course you're right. Too bad the general tenor of NPR lingers longer on
the mind than specific examples of it.  Back when I was working for Shell, a
colleague or two would have NPR on in their offices in the afternoon. I can
just remember having trouble staying in the same room with All Things
Considered. :)

All I meant, Scott, was that one should be willing to support one's 
statements.  I often lack the time to dialogue as well; but you can't 
just make such a sweeping generalization without any supporting 
argument whatsoever and then expect others to just accept it as fact.
