A/P will definitely be back and I believe the re-start date is Jan. 17th.  We're now in the period the Aussies call "the silly season"--a combo of the Christmas/New Year holidays and summer vacation.  Just about everyone in Oz goes on holiday in late December and much of January.  The ABC and RA are no exception.  As you can see, many programs go on hiatus for a time; but nearly all of them return by late January.
