I attempted to listen to Radio Australia via the Internet
this afternoon, but RA's servers were at capacity so I listened to the ABC's
domestic NewsRadio network from Australia via the 'Net. The main quake off the
coast of Sumatra as measured by the United States Geological Survey (USGS)
in Colorado is 8.9 on the Richter scale, the strongest earthquake recorded since
the 1964 Alaska earthquake.
