Since the first detection of an HIV case in China back in 1985, it is
estimated that there are now about 840,000 HIV/AIDS carriers in the country,
including 80,000 AIDS patients. Fighting and controlling the spread of AIDS
has become a common task for governments, scientists and even society as a
whole. On the December 3 Life in China, we'll take you to a seriously AIDS
hit village in Henan Province, central China, to observe the life of the
village's AIDS patients, and find out what measures the government has taken
to help them.
