set in San Francisco where comedy artist Lena grows up in an eccentric
Polish family. One day, Lena is caught in a drive-by shooting and in
the time it takes for the bullet to slice through her left ear she
realises comedy is not for her. Instead she goes to Alaska where she
discovers loss can sometimes lead to a gain (Pt 1/2 of 12.)
