Unlike BBC WS, Radio 4 continues to air Letter from
America, a Celebration, and the choice for this week is the edition immediately
following the assassination of RFK in June 1968. Two opportunities remain
to hear this programme, namely 0445 UTC Saturday 12 June and 0745 UTC Sunday 13
June. Undoubtedly the Radio 4 website will contain it as well. I
believe there will be 2 more letters on Radio 4 before the voice of Alistair
Cooke is forever consigned to the radio history book.
