A re-creation of one of the greatest natural disasters in human history, seen through the eyes of a young Roman engineer in 79AD. Marcus Attilius has taken charge of the Augusta, an enormous aqueduct that conveys water to towns around the Bay of Naples. For the first time in generations, the springs are failing and a crisis is looming on the Augusta's 60-mile main line.
