Now, now, now....calm down.
There's nothing conspiratorial about an organization with custodial
responsibility for a significant portion of radio spectrum robustly
defending that spectrum and its users from a potential source of
massive interference. My feeling is: if you want to use it, you ought
to be required to shield it--just like cable operators. And I'm an
swl; so I'm none too happy that these "entrepreneurs" don't intend to
offer any protection for my use of the spectrum (and that of the
stations which wish to broadcast to me).
As for Bush....well, he's doing such a bang-up job elsewhere, I'm not
sure I want to trust that he's expounding sound or "true business
perspective", whatever that is.
Follow the money, my boy...follow the money...

Hmmm, I think that shows a balanced approach. Never mentioned taking
any of the 100's of MHz of amateur spectrum. Was that in the ARRL
statement anywhere?
While I am sure the conspiracy theorists are all going to fall all
over this, the whole speech should be published & not just 1
cherry-picked point. Everyday I read Wireless Daily & Broadband
Reports to find the real truth about the business I work in. I sure
don't depend on the ARRL to choose my President or to repeat what he
said correctly. Those ARRL people can't even produce a technical video
with a spectrum analyzer to show a BPL signal!!! Some lab they run,
they used an S-meter instead!
Sorry but read the whole speech at

before making ignorant political statements, based on ARRL
lack-o-technic propoganda!
