We had some flurries at 8AM, they said it would begin at noon time, so it started early.  Slushy home commute definately.   I was going to leave around 11AM, as of 11:45 NYC has white grasslands and rooftops.  Wet pools with white patches on the sidewalks, a/k/a virgin slush, (wait until the kids get out of school).

 

We're expecting 2-4 inches in NYC and North New Jersey, not that bad.  Sleet mixed with rain central and south Jersey.  Havent checked the Philly area forecast but it probably is less accumulation but I'd guess more black ice tonight where you guys are.

 

Hope to get their before 10AM tomorrow.

 

I think I'd better call and reserve a room.

A storm is expected today in the Northeast.  Instead of driving through it

I'll wait until early Friday morning when it's ending and the plows have had

a chance to clear up the highways.  Hell I haven't gotten any dings from

salt or gravel spreader trucks on my car in the last 3 years, it's about

time I did.
