[Swlfest] Re: Winterfest report and Photos

Rich, here's an idea....not sure how workable it would be what with
people's work schedules, attempting to get time off, etc...

A lot of people arrived early this year on the Wednesday. Some of us
were discussing over dinner that night the feasibility of expanding the
Fest (one person said "how about a whole week!" oy!)....I thought at
least how about expanding to Thursday as an "official" day, with maybe
something going on in the afternoon for those that have arrived. 

I know from helping Tracy Wood (when he had the hospitality room
duties), you get a LOT of thirsty people in the hotel by 4-5PM. I wonder
how feasible it would be. I remember the Friday night forums were an
experiment to see how they would go over, perhaps a "pre-Fest"
seminar/lecture before the hospitality room opens that night?

Perhaps a seminar at 2PM-ish? I was surprised about how many people
arrived early on Thursday, there was a good crowd in the dining room for
dinner and a good amount of people in there for lunch. There were even a
few folks in in Wednesday (but I don't think enough to support any
official Fest activities.) 

Just some ideas to throw out for discussion!

For those who arrive on Thursday, setup *is* the night before. We get
