                 These puppies have to be swapped out totally. I recall Bill 
Cheek lamenting that fact when it 1st appeared. The blue glow just kinda 
wheezes out after time. i don't have current price for a replacement chip, but as 
stated earlier, the RatShack would be the place with the answer(s)
