Hi All:
Just a note from recent travel. WMNY, 1150, New Kensington, PA, is, contra Barry's list, on. Noted yesterday w/Black Gospel mx while passing through Pittsburgh. At 1750 was playing a gospel countdown show. However, WGBN, 1360, McKeesport, was not heard so apparently is still off. Also no sign of WAVL, 910, Apollo so I wonder if they aren't off again. Nothing else of note, but I was wondering about one of my few unheard (here) Ohioans. Is WJMP, 1520, Kent, off and gone. I used to hear them regularly at s/off in Port Huron but they are so directional I knew I'd never hear them here. So if they're gone, I can stop trying. If they're gone, that would leave me with 4 unheard Ohios, 1000 in Parma the 1350 in Celina, 1380 in Lorain and the 1460 now in Cleveland. It would also mean that, since I logged the old 1080 in Sydney just after we moved here, as well as WPAY, 1400, WFRO, 900, the 900 Canton, the 1040 in North Ridgefield and the 1500 Youngstown, I have now heard more Ohioans than are currently operating.
