[IRCA] TP 26 Aug Victoria version
Lackluster Asia before 1300UT, Australia a little later.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
612 4QR assumed with Dionne Warwick Heartbreaker per the DU English
announcer, 1307-11UT, no parallel at this time, though a parallel
with 702 noted 1318UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
702 2BL man in DU English 1323UT; paralleled at 1318UT w/612 when it
was weaker, and 612 had faded down considerably from its earlier peak
738 Tahiti presumed, jazz instrumental 1304-4UT
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1254UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1138UT
774 3LO assumed 1319UT with man in DU English, sports program;
schedule lists Friday Night AFL (though doesn't Nightlife start at
10pm local time usually?), and Radio Sport archive shows American
sport just then
774 JOUB 1129UT and several times until after 1300UT, woman in Japanese.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 JOIB woman speaking Japanese //774 1305UT
828 JOBB woman in Japanese //774 1306UT
1053 Korean jammer 1138UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
891 1098
best wishes,
Nick
