Most likely one of the ethnic pirates operating in NYC. Might be Spanish,
might be Creole as there's at least one of each operating there from time
to time.

Overnight, I recorded the 0500 UTC top-of-the-hour using an ELAD FDM-S2
and an 80-meter inverted Vee antenna.
When I play back a recording, I usually start at 1710 in order to get an
idea of band conditions. Typically, I hear the Hudson County (NJ) TIS and
less frequently, the Springfield (MA) Armory TIS. This morning, I heard
both TIS's simultaneously, as well as music from a third station... either
in Spanish or Portugese... but no ID.
Anyone have a clue what the third station might be?
