A bit too close to WLIS though? I mean not too close but not too far either?
Who'd wanna pirate on such a crowded cruddy channel... If I were to pirate,
I'd be up in the expanded band.

Does anyone know the call sign of the station that is simulcasting WAAF
FM ("Boston's Rock Station") on 1420 kHz?
FWIW, the simulcast was an S-7 here in Downtown Wolcott, CT this morning
at 4 AM EDST. I have searched high and low and cannot find who is the
simulcaster on 1420.
Sounds like someone's pirating. WAAF has no co-owned station on 1420; the
nearest is WVEI Worcester on 1440, and it's a simulcast of sports WEEI-FM
from Boston.
