[IRCA] TP 30 Apr Victoria version
This morning was a little more interesting, almost all Asian, though
not too many signals, and lots of domestic splash.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1240 and 1246UT. After this, in and out
with poor to fair levels until about 1310UT this morning,
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB man and woman in Japanese 1213UT
1053 Korean jammer 1208UT
1566 HLAZ man in English, presumably a sermon, "verses 22-23", then
man in Chinese (presumably) translating 1210UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
972 HLCA man and woman in Korean 1218UT
1287 JOHR man and woman in Japanese 1207UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
738 pop music 1238UT
747 JOIB man and woman talking //774 1207UT
1386 NHK2 synchros, a couple of words crept through the splash //774 1213UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
594 702 873 1098 1134 1242 1269 1323
best wishes,
Nick
