[IRCA] TP 20 Apr Victoria version

Might have been a lively Asiatic morning on the coast; pretty lively compared with the last few mornings here, but quite splattery as well

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ quite readable during Chinese program 1225UT, but hit this level and more several times during the Japanese program, 1240UT for example.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK man and woman in Japanese 1250UT //594
774 JOUB English lessons 1233UT, something underneath as well
1053 Korean jammer 1301UT
1287 JOHR man in Japanese, woman giggling 1245UT
1323 CRI woman in Russian 1229UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

702 2BL? man talking, DU English 1252UT
1206 Yanbian woman in Korean , musical interlude 1240UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 JOAK woman singing 1246UT, undermodulated? as strong carrier, not much audio; //567 a few minutes later
747 JOIB with woman talking, Japanese inflection, musical break 1229UT //774
891 JOHK man and woman talking //594 at 1249UT
1116 man talking quite weak 1251, DU English inflection
1143 woman talking, Chinese intonation to the speech, 1303UT
1332 man talking , Japanese ? 1245UT
1422 man and woman talking, Japanese inflections 1231UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

792 864 945 981 1035 1044 1098 1134 1161 1197 1215 1242 1251 1269 1386 1593

best wishes,

Nick
