[IRCA] TP 10 Apr Victoria version

Quite an improvement this morning, and quite a mix.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB two men in Japanese 1251UT, man in DU English underneath, but had disappeared by 1300UT; so no ID; appeared to be 3LO, as discussion seemed to match up fairly well to web archive for Sunday Nights program.
828 JOBB man in Japanese 1322UT, //774 which was much weaker now
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1314UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1309-10UT
1116 4BC ID by man 1329UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB man in Japanese 1241UT //774
891 5AN discussion of divorce 1319UT lined up with on-line archive for Sunday Nights program on ABC
972 HLCA pips, 1300UT, musical interlude, woman in Korean
1053 Korean jammer 1308UT, other times also
702 2BL pips and ABC fanfare heard weakly at 1300UT, but faded up to this level with man in DU English at 1311 and 1329UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK man in Japanese 1310UT //594
612 man talking, DU English intonation
1017 CRI chimes and fanfare heard weakly at 1300UT
1242 woman and man talking, pretty murky, but had the fast cadence of a Japanese commercial station 1253UT
1323 woman talking, sounded like Russian 1253UT
1503 JOUK man carrying on //594 1312UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

756 873 945 981 1098 1134 1143 1206 1269 1287 1314 1548

best wishes,

Nick
