[IRCA] TP 20 Mar Victoria version
Things were fairly intense here for about 15 or 20 minutes before
1400UT, but oddly some of the big guns were better earlier. I'm
sure I missed some stations fading up to audio, but only so much time
to comb through the files during the sunrise boost.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK general hilarity in the studio, men, women etc.
1352UT They obviously know how to throw a party.
1053 Korean jammer peaking briefly to this level 1244UT; much poorer
near sunrise
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
567 JOIK talking and laughter //594 1347UT
603 HLSA big carrier 1347UT with man in Korean //558
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1214UT //774
774 JOUB English lessons 1358UT
828 JOBB woman talking //774 1350UT
972 HLCA man in Korean at 1222UT
1575 VoA? man in SE Asian language
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
558 HLQH man in Korean 1347UT //603
1287 JOHR likely with pop music 1353UT
1503 JOUK woman laughing 1351UT //594
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1352UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
531 JOQG hilarity //567 1347UT
702 NHK2 man in Japanese //747 1245UT
891 JOHK laughing and talking //594 at 1347UT
1134 JOQK? rock music 1334UT
1242 woman talking, Japanese intonation 1350UT
1386 NHK2 woman talking //774 1349UT
1593 NHK2 woman talking //828 1350UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
612 639 711 873 1098 1143 1314 1323 1422 1539
best wishes,
Nick
