[IRCA] TP 27 Dec Victoria version
Asians return...a bit, with quite a nice little upper band sunrise enhancement.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese peaking 1336UT, with various male and
female a capella choral singing. Quite readable through
to Japanese program s/off, with weaker but still audible Chinese program s/on.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
972 HLCA woman in Korean peaking 1504UT
1557 presumed Taiwan 1549UT with female jazzy vocals, best on North Flag
1566 HLAZ piano music, man in Chinese, peaking 1549UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
774 man talking, sounding Japanese, woman talking, English
inflection, assumed JOUB 1504UT
1386 female pop music 1419UT, didn't sound like NHK2 programming
1476 bass heavy music 1526UT
1593 man mumbling 1551UT, maybe Chinese?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
594 747 1053 1116 1422 1575
best wishes,
Nick
