[IRCA] TP 11 Dec Victoria version
Not much to add to my live listening analysis this morning. Some
slight liveliness after 1330UT for a few minutes perhaps, and the
only DU audio was Tahiti, sort of.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
yesterday wore out this category
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK briefly rose to this level with man in Japanese 1340UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 assumed to be JOUB with music 1328UT; as mentioned, at a weaker
level, it also made an appearance for the sign off at 1540UT, and
there were hints of supposed Japanese talk at various times.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
738 rhymthic pop music 1421UT, man talking, French inflection
972 woman talking , maybe Korean 1339UT
1566 man talking, might be Japanese, might be HLAZ
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)

best wishes,
Nick
