Things picked up a bit this morning, 2 new countries for me (I think. )

 

1. LIBYA (pres.) - Radio Libya  Tripoli, 1053 kHz 00:59:40 AA chanting,
perhaps Qu`ran this time, fade up just at start of recording, no ID. Also
made a brief appearance at 0258 UTC with very good strength for about 30
seconds, faded and then up again for a bit around 0301:30.

2. MAURETANIA (pres.) - Radio Mauretanie Nouakchott, 783 kHz 02:58 AA
chanting, I think that there was an ID or another announcement at 02:58:35
and then into Qu`ran. If someone with some AA lang skills has a chance to
have a listen that would be great. I have tentatively identified this as
Mauretania by it`s strength and because propagation seems to favour this
area this morning.

3. ALGERIA  - Chaine 2 Oulad Fayet, 981 kHz 0158 kHz - AA pop mx, FF
announcement and ID (?) at TOH by woman, commentary by man in FF.
