[IRCA] TP 28 Nov Victoria version

I did a couple of earlier patches of recording as well, that had a bit of action, but overall, quite a dud morning, nothing like the sunrise lift of yesterday. Although mostly Asia or hints thereof, quite a strong carrier was also heard on 1638. (speculation about what the DX would be if there was any DX)

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

in the dreams of those people who slept in rather than DXed

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti, man in French 1159UT
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1528UT //774 a few minutes earlier

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1053 Korean jammer 1158UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

828 JOBB pips woman talking //774 1200UT (thereby implying that JOUB-774 was heard as well, also weakly) 972 pips at 1500UT, woman talking likely Korean; this was heard in bits and pieces as late as 1550UT, pretty poor signal in general
1575 man talking 1524UT; SE Asian?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

954 1512 1638

best wishes,

Nick
