I don'tÂknow if you missed all that much this morning, Colin. 
 
At 1430 I did a quick band check in the predawn darkness and found only 1593 with a weak carrier. The situation wasÂdreary enough to forego any further efforts in favor of extra sleep (after working late on an antenna project). Of course Victoria has a far more generous sunrise enhancement tradition than thisÂmediocre location, so Nick may check in later with a significantly different story.

I was up at 1400 and did a quick scan of the Fish Barrel which appeared to 
be off line or not loading on 
my device. I went back to bed. 
When I arose an hour and 1/2 later at 1530, the upper dial was light up 
like the White House at Christmas... 
but I missed the bus. Needed to jump into the shower and get ready for work. 

When I finally went downstairs at 1550UTC, the dial was very much still 
alive with audio on 1593, 1575 and 
traces of activity on 1566 and (I think, 1296...) - I had minutes to spare. 

I have the sinking feeling that I missed something FUN (for a change...)
