[IRCA] TP 20 Nov Victoria version
Starting at around 1430UT would have gotten the DXer pretty much
anything of interest this morning; it was quite dead earlier on. As
is quite normal these days, a signal could become quite strong within
10 or 15 seconds, then die away again a short time later.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB man and woman in Japanese 1454UT
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese, an interlude of classical stringed music,
then a woman in Chinese 1443UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in Japanese 15089UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
792 man talking, maybe DU English? 1435UT
828 JOBB man in Japanese //774 1457UT
954 JOKR? woman talking, Japanese inflection? 1455UT
1116 man talking, DU English? 1348UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747 891 972 1098 1242 1287 1323 1386 1422
best wishes,
Nick
