[IRCA] TP 15 Nov Victoria version
A bit of a rebound, mostly just the big guns reappearing, though
sometimes with reasonable strength. Japanese channels were apparent
in the signal strength monitor as early as 1115UT, and although there
was a slight lift around 1500UT, the strongest signals were in the
1330 to 1400UT time frame.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB man in Japanese, woman in English, //747 1348UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB woman in Japanese 1328UT //774 which was weaker just then
1566 HLAZ out of nowhere with man in Japanese, and piano music,
1340UT, fading down to the lady giving the s/off announcement
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above, passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
972 HLCA likely. Pips 1300UT, woman talking, possibly Korean; also
"barely there" woman talking 1445UT
1053 Korean jammer 1335UT
1116 man talking, woman on phone, DU English inflection 1338UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
828 864 891 945 1017 1287 1323 1548
best wishes,
Nick
