Re: [IRCA] Rather AU at the moment

Darn right it's rather auroral!  Here, 990 is a mess, there is no trace of WBBM on 780 (Regional Mexican instead, which I'm initially assuming is unneeded XEWGR in Monclova), and Spanish on 830, most likely Norco, Louisiana, is wiping out WCCO.  Should be a heckuva night for DXing.  And it sounds like tomorrow evening will be a good occasion to stay indoors what with high wind warnings here and blizzard warnings stretching from western Kansas on into the Denver area being the rule of the day.

Deep south coming in well but not much else here 35 miles NW of Chicago. Notable is 1600 KLEB now sports. 1580 has WVOK with WPMO under it. 1230 has WBOK !! with ad for LA gov. candidate and ad for Bayou Classic. I expect lots more when I play back recordings later.
