- Thread-topic: Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-31.. Asian Sunset
Thanks for remembering me in the wild weather at Rockwork, Walt :-)
An ocean cliffÂDXpedition was actually conducted during extremely wild Rockwork 4 weather (a Pacific storm) in November of 2012. Vicious rain and wind knocked out all the DXpedition gear, but provided good training for future trips (i.e. the concept thatÂthe weather will certainly knockÂeverything out, unless you make it impossible for it to do so).

73, Gary

The weather down here in Oregon was equally wild, Gary. ÂDriving by
Rockwork, I'd never seen such heavy rain, along with some healthy winds. ÂI
just imagined Gary with his FSL battling the elements. ÂIt wasn't at all
clear who would have come out on top. Â;-). Walt
