[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-15

As Colin and Nick have reported Asian signals were significantly improved this morning, withÂmore energetic audio from both the big guns and second tier TP's. And Nick is quite correct about the signal from 594-JOAK-- it hit an S9+ level here just after 1400.

At my 1315 start time the usual Japanese and Korean powerhouses were vibrant in the predawn darkness, with 594, 693, 747, 848 and 1566 all hitting good levels on peaks, and 972-HLCA and the 1053-Jammer not far behind. In addition the somewhat unusual 558-HLQH had a fair signal in and out through the 560 splatter around 1330, significantly stronger than its 603 //. A presumed 738-BEL2Âhad threshold audio in and out throughout the session, as did both 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang, although none of these seemed to maintainÂenergy for more than a few minutes at a time. After 1400 the already potent NHK big guns got a serious sunrise enhancement boost, and 594-JOAK, 693-JOAB and 747-JOIB all hit S9 levels in and out until around 1410. The second tier Asians were nowhere near that strength, but 1044-CRI, 1134-JOQR and1323-CRI did manage weak audio just pastÂ1400. 1566-HLAZ alsoÂhad an unusually good signal throughout the session (very good on peaks), but the star performer this morning was 594-JOAK, hitting an S9+ level with Japanese male-announced NHK news at 1403. Overall the session was a clear improvement over yesterday, although it would have been more interesting withÂstronger audio on 558, 603, 657 and 738. At least there was fairly good variety in theÂAsian signals-- not always the case during thisÂseason of low expectations.
