Re: [IRCA] 1449-IRIB Received on Ultralight Radio in Japan

Hi Guy (and Colin),

The original post (in a Japanese DX-related Facebook group mentioned "1449-IRIB," so this must be from Iran, not Indonesia. It was my mistake,Ârelated toÂchecking the WRTH listings (where the Iranian and Indonesian MW listingsÂare practically on the same alphabetical page).

Both of the Ultralight radio DXers currently active in Japan (Hiroyuki Okamura and Satoshi Miyauchi) are highly experienced Perseus-SDR DXers looking for a newÂhobby challenge. As such, they are certainly very familiar with the long-range DX stations that they are chasing (unlikeÂsomeone here on the west coast, which has never heard them).

Sounds Iranian to me -- with Iranian music if that is helpful.
