[IRCA] TP 23 Aug Victoria version

Mostly dead until sunrise enhancement at 1300UT (about 20 minutes before actual local sunrise)

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

738 came close

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti? African? pop music 1231-5UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

774 3LO man talking DU English 1307UT, fairly steady to 1316UT when a slow female vocal started, which then faded away. Was //612 which was much weaker by now.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

612 4QR 1300UT, ABC fanfare, man with news. Had heard something at 1200UT, but no pips or fanfare then, though man's speech sounded DU English
1512 woman talking, DU English? 1302UT
1566 pop music 1301UT
1611 woman talking slowly 1304UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

621 702 891 1314 1503 1539 1593

best wishes,

Nick
