[IRCA] TP 10 Aug Victoria version
Mostly extreme minimalist DX today, a little Asia, a little New
Zealand (maybe) and/or Australia (maybe)
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
asking too much
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 likely Tahiti, rhythmic pop 1145UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 woman talking 1236UT maybe language lessons, didn't have the
distinctive female voice normally heard in the English lessons
774 woman and man talking 1226UT. Distinctive woman's voice points
to English lessons
1566 two stations 1242UT, slow talking woman, also a woman and man,
who sounded DU English. By 1250UT, only the latter remained
1593 man talking, 1244UT, tooo weak to guess language, then into
rhythmic music.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
702 756 819 855 882 909 1008 1098 1179 1503
best wishes,
Nick
